Many Tears Animal Rescue

Supported by Burns Pet Nutrition

Sponsor Dogs

Although we like to rehome all our animals there are certain circumstances which make this impossible.  In these cases we offer the animals a permanent home.

Why sponsor an animal?
Many people sponsor an animal as a unique gift idea. It is not only a great gift idea, but is also helping a great cause at the same time!

What do I get for my sponsorship?
You will receive a photo and your sponsored pet’s story. You are also invited to come and meet your chosen pet at Many Tears Rescue.

How do I sponsor an animals at Many Tears?
If you want to set up a direct debit or standing order to sponsor one of our animals below, please contact Sylvia at email: sw.vanatta@virgin.net.

If you want to send a cheque to help us please make your cheque payable to Many Tears Animal Rescue and send it to Many Tears Animal Rescue, Cwmlogin House, Cefneithin, Llanelli SA14 7HB.

The animals below are some of the permanent residents of Many Tears Animals Rescue who for one reason or another cannot be  rehomed.

The sponsor pets!

Hermione - White fluffy cat
Hermione was brought in to Richmond County Humane Society, as a tiny kitten. She had been badly abused and was very mis-trustful of humans. She was put on death row, and that was where Sylvia rescued her from. When Sylvia came back to England she arranged for Hermione to be put onto the Pet Passport scheme and brought back with her! She still is very scarred of humans, and will not easily come round to people, therefore making it very hard to re-home her.

Finn - Black and White Collie X Hound
Finn was dragged in to the Humane Society, USA, by the dog catcher, bald, bleeding and terrified. He was only 16wks old and had already had such a bad start in life! Sylvia nursed him back to health and discovered that he had demodectic mange, a condition that could occur through out his life and is quite costly to cure, but is NOT catching to other animals. She was told to put him to sleep as nobody would want him. Instead Sylvia arranged for him to go on the Pet Passport and to be brought back with her!
